The Pine Tree Park Improvement Project is currently underway. Built in 1973 and located at the corner of Bryan Avenue and Red Hill Avenue, Pine Tree Park has a variety of enjoyable community amenities, including a sand volleyball court, open turf areas, and a picnic shelter.
Park improvements will include restroom renovations, new landscaping, irrigation, turf, playground equipment and surfacing, as well as a series of accessibility improvements in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Replacement of the landscape, turf and irrigation will improve coverage, enhance growth and efficiency, thereby, improving long term maintenance and operations. The new playground, picnic shelter and sand volleyball court will be larger than the previous amenities and will adhere to all current safety standards.
The Pine Tree Park Improvements Project is funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and the City’s Park Development Fund. Project completion is estimated for Spring 2023.
