[ARCHIVED] County of Orange Businesses Can Now Move into Stage Two of California’s Resiliency Roadmap

County Flyer for stage 2b

Orange County has received State approval on its variance application to move into “Stage 2B.”

According to the County, the following businesses may re-open with the proper safety precaution adaptations:

  • In-person dining reservations
  • Retail shopping with social distancing and curbside pickup
  • Manufacturing
  • Offices (when telework not possible)
  • Outdoor Museums
  • Limited Services

It is important to note that these industries must adhere to the guidance put out by the State, which can be found here: https://covid19.ca.gov/roadmap-counties/ and here: https://covid19.ca.gov/industry-guidance/. Adherence to this guidance will ensure that our community stays safe and these industries can remain open.

A press release from the County gives more information about the approval from the State,  specific links to industry health and safety guidance, and other information critical for the re-opening of these industries: https://occovid19.ochealthinfo.com/county-orange-moves-stage-two-californias-resiliency-roadmap

Also, the County Health Officer today issued a new Health Officer’s Order that gives new guidance on individuals with or exposed to COVID-19, a requirement for cloth face coverings, as well as information for businesses as they re-open.  The new Health Order can be found here: https://us4.campaign-archive.com/?e=&u=2f2593b644c191a74f2a4d25a&id=5575e1d569

We will continue to share real time information related to the re-opening stages and guidelines as more news becomes available.
