[ARCHIVED] County of Orange Businesses Can Now Move into Stage Two of California’s Resiliency Roadmap

4 stages

Orange County has received State approval on its variance application to move into “Stage 2B.”

According to the County, the following businesses may re-open with the proper safety precaution adaptations:

  • In-person dining reservations
  • Retail shopping with social distancing and curbside pickup
  • Manufacturing
  • Offices (when telework not possible)
  • Outdoor Museums
  • Limited Services

It is important to note that these industries must adhere to the guidance put out by the State, which can be found here: and here: Adherence to this guidance will ensure that our community stays safe and these industries can remain open.

A press release from the County gives more information about the approval from the State,  specific links to industry health and safety guidance, and other information critical for the re-opening of these industries:

Also, the County Health Officer today issued a new Health Officer’s Order that gives new guidance on individuals with or exposed to COVID-19, a requirement for cloth face coverings, as well as information for businesses as they re-open.  The new Health Order can be found here:

We will continue to share real time information related to the re-opening stages and guidelines as more news becomes available.
