The City Council and staff continue to closely monitor the developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and are taking reasonable precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.
As a result, in a proactive effort to minimize COVID-19 exposure, the City of Tustin has postponed the 2020 Disaster Preparedness Expo scheduled for May 9, at the Tustin Hangar.
These measures are intended to protect public health and discourage gatherings as response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Disaster Preparedness Expo is an important event for our community, but given the current circumstances, it had to be postponed, “stated Mayor Dr. Allan Bernstein. “We will continue to reevaluate the situation to determine when the event can be scheduled at a later date.”
The Tustin Disaster Preparedness Expo is the largest expo in Orange County and features emergency response vehicles, equipment displays, sample disaster preparedness kits, information booths and activities for all ages. The City of Tustin’s inaugural expo was held in 2018.
