This morning at approximately 3:01 a.m., the Orange County Fire Authority and Tustin Police Department responded to a structure fire at the Chatham Village Apartments located at 15751 Williams Street.
Numerous units were deployed to the area to gain control of the 5-alarm fire at the two-story apartment complex. All residents have been accounted for. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those impacted by this morning’s fire,” stated Mayor Dr. Allan Bernstein. “The City of Tustin has a spirit of generosity, a family-oriented mindset and the response from our community has been incredible.”
The American Red Cross is assisting displaced residents in providing food, shelter and emotional support, which are made possible by disaster relief donations. The Tustin Community Foundation is also accepting donations to support the families affected by the fire.
