Contracted Services
The City of Tustin contracts with CR&R Incorporated for trash and recycling services throughout the community. For questions about your service, please contact CR&R at (714) 372-8272. A copy of the agreement is available for viewing below:
Current Service Rates
Weekly Pick-Ups
Weekly pick-ups are scheduled throughout Tustin neighborhoods using a three-cart system for single family homes:
- The black bin is for all other regular waste materials
- The green cart is for grass and plant materials that can be composted. Food waste can be included beginning July 1, 2021. Please click here for more information on organics collection.
- The blue cart is for clean recycle materials such as paper, cardboard, aluminum and glass

Holiday Collection Schedule
If your scheduled weekly service day falls on or after a major holiday, then service may be delayed by one day for the remainder of that week. For all other holidays, residential collection remains on normal schedule.
Major holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Dray
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
