Flight at Tustin Legacy
On November 15, 2016 the City executed a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with Flight Venture LLC (Lincoln Property Company and Alcion Ventures) to construct up to 870,000 square feet of modern creative office space and supporting retail on approximately 38 acres near the corner of Barranca Parkway and Red Hill Avenue. The DDA was amended on June 20, 2017. The City selected Lincoln because of their proposal that featured collaborative, non-traditional workplaces that will take advantage of the indoor/outdoor environment created by the proximity to Tustin Legacy Park.
FLIGHT will feature several amenities, including Mess Hall Market, a 12,000-square-foot market food hall with chef-driven food and beverage concepts, a 6,000-square-foot conference center for meetings and special events, expansive outdoor amenity space and seamless access to Tustin Legacy Park, creating a dynamic indoor/outdoor work experience. The first phase of Tustin Legacy Park is under construction and will be completed as FLIGHT is developed.
FLIGHT will be constructed in two phases with Phase I (adjacent to Tustin Legacy Park) currently under construction. Phase I will include over 470,000 square feet of office space, Mess Hall Market and the conference center. Phase I also includes the completion of Armstrong Avenue from Warner Avenue to Barranca Parkway in addition to Flight Way and Airship Avenue that will serve as private internal drives. Phase II will be available to commence as lease-up of Phase I completes, or for a custom build to suit opportunities for larger users.
