The Community Development Department has commenced an update of Tustin’s historic resources surveys, conducted in 1990 and 2003. The purpose of the survey update is to record and update information on potential historic resources in Tustin. It will update information on the 400+ properties identified in earlier surveys as places of social, historical and architectural significance. Properties constructed through 1976 will also be considered. No properties will receive formal historic designation as part of the survey.
The workshop will provide an overview of the survey process to date and goals and allow opportunity for members of the community to provide input, provide historic information related to specific properties or topics, and to ask questions about the project.
