You have the right to make a complaint against a police department employee for improper conduct. California law requires the Tustin Police Department to have a procedure to investigate personnel complaints. You have a right to a written description of this procedure.

Investigation
If you believe an employee behaved improperly, you have the right to make a complaint. The Department will conduct a thorough investigation when a complaint has been filed. After the investigation is completed you will receive notice of the outcome.
Juvenile Complaints
Generally complaints from juveniles are preferred to have oversight from a parent or guardian.
