Tustin, a City known for its beautiful trees and parks, will soon add another park to its impressive array – Citrus Ranch Park located at 1111 Portola Parkway. The park will feature a themed children's playground, picnic areas, a picnic shade structure, restrooms, pedestrian walkways and plaza areas. A walking trail surrounded by one of the last citrus groves in Orange County will provide park goers with breathtaking views of Orange County from its summit. A natural meadow and play field will enrich the rural feel to those wishing to picnic in the grass.

“Parks enrich our quality of life, offering something for everyone from young children to teens, to families, adults and the elderly” said Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Amante. “They play a vital role in recreation and contribute to larger community objectives, such as public health, youth development, social and cultural exchange, serving as focal points of our community and symbols of its vitality and character.”

Construction on the 17 acre park began in December, 2008. The park is scheduled to open January 2010.
